ACS CAN/AdvaMedDx Personalized Medicine Roundtables - North Carolina

AdvaMedDx partnered with the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN) to host a series of state-based personalized medicine roundtable events in order to bring attention to the role of diagnostics and personalized medicine in oncology. Five events were held between August and November 2015:

Event Summary:

The Roundtable panelists discussed obstacles and limitations to the successful implementation of precision medicine as well as policies which can be developed to achieve the goal of maximally empowering patients with the most effective tools possible to improve their health outcomes. Attendees included representatives from diagnostic companies, health systems, insurance companies, and local universities.
